Century
HotelFrom the Century Hotel press kit:
Over the course of a century, a single hotel room sees every kind of human drama, and on the eve of the millennium, a young girl begins to unlock its secrets. An illicit love affair, an unsolved murder, a young woman's first sexual encounter, and the creeping onset of madness all form a part of its rich history. Century Hotel is a journey though the twentieth century - all from the perspective of a seemingly anonymous hotel room.

Reunion
In the summer of 1945, young men returned home after the war in Europe to find that the world they had left behind had changed dramatically. Facing a lack of workers, due to conscription, factories recruited women to work on the assembly lines. In Quebec, feminists finalley succeed in obtaining the vote in their province. Canadians in Hong Kong were taken prisoners when the city fell to Japan and, in retaliation, 22,000 Japanese Canadians were placed in internment camps in Canada. French and English Canada were deeply divided on the question of conscription, and the defection of Igor Gouzenko from the Soviet Union revealed the existence of a Soviet spy network in Canada.
In 1945 Danny (Joel Bissonnette) returns from Europe and is met by his girlfriend, Beth (Janet Kidder), and bets friend, Michael (David Hewlett) -- sent home months earlier because of a war injury. Their cheerful reunion slowly gives way to deep-seated tensions that reveal a shocking betrayal that will change their lives forever.
